Trannies Can't Count.

I have to start updating this thing more often. That way my posts won't be so long and elaborate. This one will be short and sweet.

I finally started at Changs! After waiting forever, going through 7 days of long and boring training... I'm officially making money! Or trying to...

We are all starting out with 1-3 table sections. Last night was my first night and I got a 2 table section. One 4 top and one 6 top. I had about 5 tables and my last table was a Japanese table!!! And they couldn't speak any English, so being the person that I am, I wasn't about to bust out my poor Japanese and try to struggle through the whole process so I started out in English! Classic E. After about 3 seconds of that, I realized they really didn't know any English, so finally I blurted out that I could speak Japanese and then they were so happy and between my poor Japanese and their poor English we got through it! I was actually impressed with myself so next time I won't be so apprehensive to go all Land of the Rising Sun on them. And here in Waikiki we get ALOT of Japanese tourists and in Japan, we don't tip. You just get the bill, pay the total and dip out. Tipping is nonexistent in Japan's restaurants. So not all Japanese know to tip and if they do know, maybe they don't know how much, but I have faith in my people, so I didn't put gratuity on their bill and told my skeptic GM that they would hook me up and whaddayaknow! They did! So after a gracious bow (not all the way down to the floor, but don't think I won't) they left happy as did I.

All in all, I didn't make as much as I was hoping for the night, but with two table sections I'm not sure how much I can hope for. My first friend ever at Changs Waikiki, Sarita, made $225! And she only had a one table section! And she's not even good! She said she had the VIP tables in her big booth and since they got their meals free that they hooked her up, even though she did bad and felt so horrible for them.... I WANNA DO BAD AND FEEL HORRIBLE AND WALK OUT WITH MAD CASH!!! What about me? So I'll be doing it again tonight and hopefully tonight goes a bit better.

The parking situation here in Waikiki is s0 ridiculous. There is no employee parking provided! I know that there's alot of tourists so parking decks are gonna charge alot per hour, but the building I work in is The Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center and it charges something like $2/20 minutes! So for our 4 hour orientation at the IMAX theatre it was $24 and then with validation it was still $8! So I've started parking at the zoo and walking. The walk itself is great. So much to look at and you're walking past the beach the whole time, which is a bit discouraging seeing all these people having a great time and you have to work... but it's so hot that by the time I get to work I'm sweating so much and that's not how I wanna start my shift. So I finally sucked it up and started parking at the parking deck on Seaside and it's only $6-7 for "ALL DAY!" So they say... I was there from 9:30 am - 9:45pm for our last day of training and I'm so tired and get to my car and hand the "woman" my ticket and "she" turns around and says "$16" and me, thinking I got this, reply "Oh, I paid advance for all day parking!" Then the "woman" opens up "her" mouth only to reveal that not only is this parking attendant a she-MAN, but that "ALL DAY" is only for ten hours of parking. FUGLY TRANNY SAY WHAT?! So I have to repark my car on the 5th floor, (even the parking decks are hard to find parking in) go to an ATM and get some cash, then go back to my car and so I hand my ticket and a $20 back to the not-so-fierce-tranny-hot-mess and "she" gives me my change and I zoom off all fast and furious. THEN I realized that the tranny gave me a $10 back instead of $4! To all my trannies out there who can't count.... MAHALO!
